Tom Welldon, Physiotherapist

Tom is a dedicated Physiotherapist who is motivated by working towards the best possible outcomes for all patients under his care. Tom is the founder of Well Done Physiotherapy, a physiotherapy service aiming to deliver complete care to people in the Fraser Coast region, Wide Bay region and further!

After completing his schooling in Childers, Queensland, Tom graduated from Central Queensland University in Bundaberg in 2019 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). During his degree Tom had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam and volunteer in orphanages and children's hospitals to provide rehabilitation to children in need. Tom has a keen interest in the following areas:

Tom endeavours to facilitate change in his clients lives through consideration of specific factors and goals of the client. Tom's focus is not only to directly treat the concern, but provide the client with appropriate strategies and education about their concern to assist with self management. Tom is an expert in prescription and progression of therapeutic exercise to improve functional capacity and facilitate return to activity. Occupational rehabilitation is also a keen area of interest and Tom aims to achieve return to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Tom has worked in private practice since his graduation and has gained many skills working within NDIS. Tom has experience working with clients of all ages and conditions. Tom is proficient in implementing different physical and cognitive rehabilitation approaches tailored to patient needs. Tom also has developed skills in report writing and assessment for the NDIS and occupational rehabilitation sector.

When Tom isn't working he has very keen interests in fitness and sports. Tom is currently training for triathlon so you can generally find him swimming, running or training in the gym most days of the week. He also has a very keen interest in cricket, with him (almost) never missing a Big Bash Game in the on season.
